• The Frisky Oyster Restaurant (631) 477-4265~ Front Street, Greenport: Chic, hip, cool are ways to describe this relatively new eatery. It has been getting rave reviews by the hip and young.  The food's really good.
• The North Fork Table  (631) 765-0177~ Southold 

• This is the hottest, newest restaurant on the North Fork, according to Peter Gianotti food editor of Newsday "On the North Fork, this table is first." This is definitely the most expensive restaurant but you will not be disappointed.  My wife and I went there with two friends and we we were all satisfied and delighted with the food and the service. They served the most succulent steak I have ever had.
• Bay and Main  (631) 477-1442~ Bay & Main Streets, Greenport: Hidden in a little courtyard, eclectic menu, attractive decor and music on the weekends.  Bay & main is open Friday through Sunday 4 p.m. to close.
