Originally built in the 1780s, the home was transformed by Captain Vail in 1873 into the Victorian residence it is today. Historic features like original flooring, antique furnishings, and preserved artifacts reflect the home’s heritage. About Your Hosts


Owners Wilfred and Veda Joseph purchased the home in 1998 and have lovingly restored it with both care and purpose. Combining Wilfred’s expertise in historic renovation with Veda’s passion for hospitality, they created a peaceful retreat where guests feel both welcomed and renewed. Their Caribbean roots influence the home’s ambiance and cuisine.
